We were quite impressed with our baking – we made mini-muffins...they looked so cute, and we didn’t burn her house down – kudos to us...although the instructions were incredibly straight forward and simple to follow, it would have been quite embarrassing if we had somehow managed to ruin them...after the serious task of baking was finished, we were able to act like sillies, forgetting about any responsibilities we had...so after drawing stripes on our cheeks with my Chanel lipstick we decided to tra la la outside to play on the trampoline, or rather hoola-hoop on the trampoline...not as successful as I had hoped – but absolutely hilarious instead...the dog kept jumping onto the trampoline, and then we realised it was pretty cold outside so we abandoned that idea and went back into the house to dance around to music.
All in all it was a really good day, I'm sure her family will appreciate the muffins.

I’m looking rather Swedish at the moment...only a small group of people from my old school will really appreciate that, mainly my English Lit & Sociology pals...the same ones who appreciate the fact that I can’t pronounce the word ‘fixtures’ properly...so much drama...I used to change my nationality every week in sixth form, ohhh, good times, I couldn’t help it...I’m fickle, but Swedish was always my favourite...mainly because Special K agreed that I looked Swedish, and we all know that whatever Special K says is right, because he’s the greatest teacher everrrr.
Maybe I only look Swedish in the summer months, I remember Ms Guy saying to me on results day last year “you look fabulous, clearly summer is your season”...mmm, thanks, any other time I would have happily accepted that as a compliment and been ecstatically happy – however I just wanted my exam results and to find out if I had my place at university, I wasn’t really in the mood for ‘small talk’...but in hindsight I definitely appreciate what she said.
We cancelled rollerblading today...it’s raining, which makes it less fun (and more dangerous)...Ginnie wasn’t feeling well anyway, so I guess it’s for the best that we didn’t go, though it is a shame.
It’ll give me a chance to catch up on some much needed sleep...always a good thing! I don’t know what’s going on with my sleeping pattern at the moment; very erratic...I’m so very tired, maybe I need to slow down.
